We run the garden in the organic/biodynamic planting systems. It is a lot of work but there are no food miles, no chemicals and it’s all eaten straight from the garden so the best taste, quality and nutritional value can be guaranteed. |

The cutting garden is abundant during the summer and we work hard to keep a steady supply of flowers for most of the year. In March, February if we are lucky, the flowering season in the garden kicks off with the daffodils, quickly followed by muscari, anemones, alliums, sweetpeas, roses and dahlias which flower well into October. During this period fresh flowers will be in all rooms and public areas. |

Our new polytunnel provides a longer season for all our vegetables and hopefully we can supply our own tomatoes from May until November on your breakfast plate. We are even experimenting in mushrooms and hope to try these on your breakfast plate soon. |
